First Lady Jill Biden underwent a positive COVID-19 test on Monday evening after reporting moderate symptoms, according to her office.

President Biden, who is slated to go to India on Thursday for the G20 summit, tested negative, according to the White House. This week, he will go through routine tests.

Having COVID for the second time, Jill Biden, 72, is now. She contracted the virus in August when on Martha’s Vineyard vacation with the President and their family. Her test was positive after she started taking Paxlovid.

The most recent COVID test result for President Biden was in July 2022.

Biden spent time traveling at the end of this week, first to Lake Okeechobee, Florida, to observe hurricane recovery work, and then to his vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

Today, on Labor Day, the President travels to Philadelphia, but the First Lady stays in Rehoboth Beach. He then returns to the White House.
